The Great Canadian Workshop for Dancers is an exciting opportunity for dancers ages 5 and up to train, perform, and be inspired! Dancers will learn original choreography from The Great Canadian Variety Show, connect with other performers and experience the energy of a professional production environment all while having a blast.
This workshop isn’t just fun. It’s a stepping stone! Select dancers who participate will be invited to audition for the next edition of The Great Canadian Variety Show. Starpower Mini (Age 5-7)
Young dancers will explore three exciting styles in this fun, high-energy workshop led by industry guest instructors. Each class builds stage confidence, performance skills, and expressive movement preparing dancers for future opportunities to audition for roles in The Great Canadian Variety Show. Classes include: Jazz Choreography, Musical Theatre and Hip Hop
Rising Stars Junior/Inter Age 8+
Take your performance to the next level! This dynamic workshop gives developing dancers training with professional guest instructors across multiple disciplines, building confidence, artistry and stage-ready skills for future auditions and roles in The Great Canadian Variety Show. Classes include: Jazz Choreo, Jazz Technique, Hip Hop, Jazz Funk, Acting, Voice, and Musical Theatre!
Elite Edge Age 13+
Take your performance to the next level! This intensive workshop gives serious young performers training with professional guest instructors across multiple disciplines, building technical precision, stage presence, and performance artistry. Select dancers from this workshop will be invited to an exclusive, invite-only audition for the next Great Canadian Variety Show, with the chance to join our professional production team. Classes include: Jazz Technique, Broadway Jazz Choreography, Heels, Hip Hop, Jazz Funk, Acting, Voice, and Musical Theatre!
